SUPERNOVA POWER SUPPLY (SNPS) BATTERY
REPLACEMENT KIT:

Instruction sheet
1) Unplug the SuperNova Power Supply (SNPS) from
wall mount transformer.
2) Unplug the SuperNova Power Supply (SNPS) from the SuperNova.
3) Remove the SNPS lid; Use the 1/16" allen wrench to remove
the eight screws that hold the lid in place.
4) Disconnect the four battery packs from the board, noting the
direction of the red and black wires.
5) Beginning with one side, undo the two vertical Velcro battery
straps that secure the packs to the chassis. Then remove the
strap that secures the two battery packs together. Note the
configuration of the straps. Remove the old battery packs and
disopose of properly. Repeat this process for the other side.
6) Place two new battery packs side by side and secure them with
a Velcro strap. Then secure the two-pack to the chassis using the
two remaining straps. Repeat this process for the other side. Be
sure that the edge of the batteries with the wires emitting is
closest to the connectors. Secure firmly, but do not overtighten.
7) Connect the battery packs via the wire connectors to the board
(locations J7 and J3) with the wires facing towards the battery
packs.
8) Replace the lid. Do not overtighten.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Do NOT leave the SuperNova Power Supply (SNPS) connected to the SuperNova while not plugged into the wall. This will quickly compromise the integrity of the batteries. We suggest leaving the SNPS plugged in to wall power at all times.
